Recently, Shandong Dingsheng Electric, a leading enterprise in the field of new energy charging equipment in China, announced that its independently developed 2.56 MW supercharging pile has been officially launched and achieved mass production and delivery. This "energy giant" that integrates V2G vehicle network interaction technology, with its dual machine intelligent aggregation of 5.12 megawatts of total power and 16 guns of parallel energy replenishment, has solved the industry pain points of "slow energy replenishment and high cost" for new energy heavy-duty trucks. This device has the core advantages of "super high power, fast energy replenishment, and safety and stability", which solves the power bottleneck in the field of new energy heavy-duty truck supercharging and empowers the new energy heavy-duty truck replenishment system to enter a new era of "megawatt level".
As the core pain point for the development of the new energy commercial vehicle industry, low energy replenishment efficiency and short range have always constrained the large-scale promotion of new energy heavy-duty trucks. Traditional charging equipment generally suffers from insufficient power, even mainstream 400 kW supercharging stations require more than 1 hour to fully charge a new energy heavy-duty truck, making it difficult to meet the efficient operation needs of commercial vehicles. As a local high-tech enterprise, Shandong Dingsheng Electric's 2.56 MW supercharging pile launched this time is a breakthrough achievement in addressing the pain points of this industry.
According to the R&D director of Dingsheng Electric, this supercharging pile solves the heating problem during high-power charging through an efficient thermal management system. Compared with traditional air-cooled equipment, the heat dissipation efficiency is increased by more than 40%, and the stability of equipment operation is significantly enhanced. In terms of core performance, its maximum output power can reach 2.56 megawatts, and its adaptive voltage range covers 200V-1000V, which can meet the charging needs of all mainstream new energy heavy-duty trucks in the current market. According to actual test data, the device can complete the "30% to 80%" energy replenishment for new energy heavy-duty trucks equipped with 600kWh batteries in just 30 minutes. The energy replenishment efficiency is nearly 50% higher than that of 400 kW devices, fully matching the refueling time of fuel heavy-duty trucks and completely changing the current situation of "slow charging and low operational efficiency" of new energy heavy-duty trucks.
In addition to its ultimate energy replenishment efficiency, this supercharging pile also has multiple safety guarantees and intelligent management advantages. The device is equipped with a full scenario safety monitoring system that can monitor core parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature during the charging process in real time. Once an abnormal situation occurs, power off protection is immediately activated to avoid charging safety risks from the source. At the same time, its integrated intelligent networking module can achieve data exchange with new energy heavy-duty trucks and logistics scheduling platforms, support scheduled charging, peak and valley electricity price adjustment, remote operation and maintenance, and other functions, helping logistics enterprises optimize charging costs and improve operational efficiency.
The supercharging system put into operation this time has successfully adapted to local heavy-duty scenarios such as Shandong Shouguang New Energy Freight Line and Rizhao Port Green Transport Fleet. It is compatible with 400V/800V multi voltage platforms and can cover mainstream electric heavy-duty truck models in the market. Shandong Dingsheng Electric, with multiple core patented technologies, deeply integrates intelligent power distribution with V2G technology. This not only responds to the construction requirements of high-power charging facilities in the national "Three Year Doubling" action plan, but also provides key equipment support for Shandong to build a "green corridor for all electric logistics and freight trunk supercharging".
Industry experts point out that new energy heavy-duty trucks are a key lever for reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector, and efficient energy replenishment systems are the "lifeline" for their large-scale development. The launch of the 2.56 MW supercharging pile by Dingsheng Electric will empower the technology of domestic heavy-duty truck supercharging equipment above the megawatt level, promote the construction and upgrading of new energy heavy-duty truck refueling networks, and accelerate the transformation process of the commercial vehicle industry from the "fuel age" to the "electric age". With the further popularization of related technologies, the operating costs of new energy heavy-duty trucks will continue to decrease in the future, and their competitiveness in long-distance logistics, engineering transportation and other fields will be greatly enhanced, providing strong support for China's transportation industry to achieve the goals of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
Next, Dingsheng Electric will continue to increase research and development investment, launch a series of supercharging products for different application scenarios, and work together with industry chain partners to promote the layout and construction of energy replenishment networks, injecting stronger impetus into the high-quality development of the new energy commercial vehicle industry.
